Ingredients :
- 500g chicken cut in to cubes- 2 nos medium onions cut in to quarters
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tesp garlic - crushed
- 1 1/2 tesp garam masala
- 1 tesp chili powder
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 tesp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp curd
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tbsp sultana
- 175g mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cups water
Method :
1. place the onion in food processor and process for 1 minute and add tomato puree, cashew nuts, garam masala, garlic, chili powder, lemon juice, turmeric, salt and curd to the processed onions and process for further 1 - 1 1/2 minutes ( as a spice mixture)
2. in a heavy pan heat oil and pour the spice mixture in to the pan and fry for 2 minute. and when its lightly cooked and half of the chopped coriander, sultans, and chicken and continue to stir fry for one minute.
3. add mushrooms , pour the water to a simmer , cover the pan cook in low heat for 10 minutes or until its cooked well and sauce is thicken , garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
